Inaugurated CX Naples | Central, the new university residence with 500 beds at the former headquarters Inps after an intervention of urban regeneration by, financed by the Integrated Urban Plans Fund
The urban regeneration project has transformed the former INPS headquarters into a modern university residence with a total investment of €40 million. The operation was supported – with €10 million in financing – by the Integrated Urban Plans Fund (PUI Fund), the instrument promoted by the European Investment Bank and managed by Banca Finint together with Finint Investments and Sinloc.
The CX Naples | Centrale project was promoted and developed by the iGeneration Fund managed by Investire SGR, CDP Real Asset SGR (CDP Group), and the European Investment Fund (EIF), with the participation of other major institutional investors, including Fondazione Con Il Sud, Cassa Forense, ENPAV and Intesa Sanpaolo.
The project, completed in two years, involved a building complex of over 15,000 square metres in Via Galileo Ferraris 4, near the Central Station. Management of the facility has been entrusted to CampusX (CX Campus & Hotel), a leading operator in the student accommodation sector.
The new CX Naples | Central includes 352 rooms, of which a9> of which 74 are intended for hotel use, for a total of 541 beds . Designed mainly for university students, but also open to young professionals and travellers, the facility offers spacious rooms with private bathrooms. and travellers, the facility offers spacious common areas, areas for coworking areas and spaces dedicated to socialising and well-being – study rooms, shared kitchen, laundry room, gym, play areas, multimedia room and panoramic terrace – completed by reception, community management, security and maintenance, for a living experience that goes beyond simple accommodation.
The objective is to create an open and inclusive community in constant dialogue with the surrounding fabric of the surrounding urban environment.
