Technical and financial assistance for the preparation of a preliminary project for the redevelopment and valorization of the former Fornaci Picci in Quartu Sant'Elena (CA), to be applied for the National Innovative Programme for the Quality of Living (PINQuA) and the Institutional Development Contracts (CIS, Art. 6 - D. Lgs. no. 88/2011) .
The intervention focused on two main aspects: support in defining a sustainable design framework for the urban transformation operation and project management for funding through application to national resources. The project has been awarded funding of approximately €14.3 million.
Results
The project’s sustainability objectives have been achieved through the identification of a model for intervention in the social housing sector, The definition of an optimal financial structure and, finally, the verification of the modalities for the activation of other economic resources, in addition to those of PINQua, in order to guarantee the full support of the intervention.
