Action plan for the regeneration of the "Ex Centro Tori" area in the municipality of San Donà di Piave to meet the housing needs of the area with a social/service housing perspective.
The study aims at: defining the project scenarios and a rough estimate of investment costs, identifying the optimal implementation scenario, evaluating implementation implications, economic/financial sustainability, economic/social benefits/impacts and verifying the design and management scenario that allows for better sustainability. The project also includes the definition of a financing hypothesis for the work and the plan of actions that the municipality may undertake to launch the project.
Requirements
The Municipality of San Donà di Piave needs to define a set of measures to address the issue of the housing emergency and to increase the supply of social housing in the area. Living is today one of the most complex and relevant challenges in urban management: access to the home is made difficult by the economic context and the possibilities of families and young couples, by a progressive fragmentation of families and consequent new social needs, and above all by the increase in real estate market costs.
In the Municipality there is the availability of a large area to regenerate, the former Tori Center, owned by the Chamber of Commerce, located in a semi-peripheral area, but in a context of landscape value.
