Support for the Union of Mountain Municipalities of the Pistoia Apennines to prepare the application of a project for the call for proposals “Aid for the promotion of associative forms of forest management” published by the Tuscany Region. In particular, the Union intends to promote the establishment of a Community of Forests of the Pistoia Mountains, for which it has already started actions to involve the territory and to first map potential landowners interested in the initiative, thanks to the support of the Caript Foundation.
Results
Thanks to the support of Fondazione Caript and the work carried out with the Union of Municipalities, a shared vision of the territory was defined, which then materialised in the preparation of the application for the Tuscany Region's call for proposals 'Aid for the promotion of associative forms of forest management'. The project was awarded €50,000, which will be used to finance the planned enhancement and development process.
