Investment in the development of a 4.24 MWp photovoltaic plant in the province of Catania under the TEF Fund. The plant is ground-mounted and utilizes single-axis trackers paired with bifacial photovoltaic modules. The operation involved the acquisition of 100% of the project company’s shares and repurposes an unused area, contributing to the energy transition. The plant, launched in 2024, is expected to deliver environmental benefits equal to 2,425 tons of CO₂ avoided and 1,256 TEP of primary non renewable energy savings.
Requirements
The needs of the project company in relation to the TEF Fund’s involvement can be summarized as follows: contribution to the capitalization of the company, alignment on financial solutions consistent with the operation’s target risk/return profile, definition of optimal governance and contractual arrangements and ongoing monitoring of the project’s performance and impacts.
