TEF Fund – Investment in a 5.04 MWp photovoltaic plant – Solsalento Otto

The needs of the project company in relation to the TEF Fund’s involvement can be summarized as follows: contribution to the company’s capitalization, alignment on financial solutions consistent with the operation’s target risk/return profile, definition of optimal governance and contractual arrangements, and ongoing monitoring of the project’s performance and impacts.

Investment in the construction of a 5.04 MWp photovoltaic plant in the province of Lecce under the TEF Fund. The plant is ground-mounted and uses bifacial photovoltaic modules installed on fixed structures. The transaction consisted of the subscription of a bond to finance the construction of the plant, which entered in function in January 2024, followed by the acquisition of 100% of the shares and the residual shareholder loan. The project increases installed renewable capacity and is expected to generate environmental benefits equivalent to 2,278 tons of CO₂ avoided and 1,288 TEP of non-renewable primary energy saved.

The investment initiative is currently in the ordinary management phase. The environmental results achieved in 2024 include an annual reduction of 2,051.58 tons of CO₂ and savings of 13,487.19 MWh of non-renewable primary energy.
